From the main train station („Hauptbahnhof“) there are several busses going to the Institute of Computer Science (Staudingerweg 9). Here you find the next direct connection at deutsche Bahn.
From the bus stop “Staudingerweg” you need another 2-3 minutes to the Institute of Computer Science (OpenStreetMaps).
You can also use busses which stop at “Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg” on the eastern side of the university campus (deutsche Bahn). From there it is an approx. 10 minute walk to the Institute of Computer Science situated on the western side of the campus (OpenStreetMaps).
The Institute is located in the middle of the three cross shaped buildings („Kreuzbauten“) on the third floor.
The nearest parking ground outside of the campus is located at the end of Dahlheimer-Weg.
Parking on campus is available only with special permission. If you need a permission, please let us know in time so we can organize this. Here, the nearest parking ground is at Ackermannweg. You need to enter the Campus from the Koblenzer-Straße.
There are two airports near Mainz:
Airport Frankfurt/Main
• train (EC, ICE, IC, RE, RB) or S-Bahn (line S8) transit from Frankfurt/Main to Mainz main station

Airport Frankfurt-Hahn (Hunsrück)
• bus transfer to Mainz main station

Car route from Frankfurt-Hahn to Mainz:
• Take highway B 50 to get to autobahn A 61, on-ramp “Rheinböllen” direction “Ludwigshafen.”
• At “Dreieck Nahetal” change to autobahn A 60 direction Mainz.
• Leave autobahn A 60 at exit “Saarstraße.”
